This collaboration will merge Austria's rich artistic heritage, with a particular focus on Gustav Klimt's masterpiece, "The Kiss," and Hong Kong's innovative art technology. The partnership will introduce exclusive merchandise inspired by "The Kiss" to the China-Hong Kong market, creating a transformative and immersive arts and cultural experience for local and international tourists alike. The primary objectives are to foster creativity, celebrate diversity, and promote cross-cultural understanding.

Mr. Wolfgang Bergmann, Chief Financial Officer of Austria's Belvedere Museum, emphasizes that “Gustav Klimt’s masterpiece “The Kiss” is a world-reknown iconic symbol of love. We therefore aim to use Valentine’s day to spread the message globally. We are very much looking forward to present it to Hong Kong next year.”

The Kiss (Lovers) by Gustav Klimt is the most famous Austrian painting and the highlight of the permanent collection at the Upper Belvedere in Vienna/Austria. It shows a couple swathed in richly embellished robes embracing in a meadow of flowers on the brink of a precipice. The painting dates from 1907/08 at the height of Klimt’s “Golden Period” when the artist developed a new technique of combining gold leaf with oils and bronze paint.
